We tripled the Majority.
We had the highest increase in vote share of any party, in any constituency, in the whole of the South West.
56.5% is the highest share of vote that any MP has ever had in the history of North Devon. Nick Harveys best was 50.8% in 1997, Tony Spellers best was 55.1% in 1983 and Jeremy Thorpes best was 53.9% in 1974.
