Welcome to the North Devon Conservative Association.
As the North Devon Conservative Association, we are the local branch of the Conservative Party. We have hundreds of members from all walks of life who support the aims of the Conservative Party, but without necessarily being politically active.
The Association has several important roles:
- We select candidates for general, county and district council elections
- We provide funds, volunteers and office support to run election campaigns
- We raise money to help fund election campaigns and to keep the Association running
- We take part in social action activities to support local community groups
- We feed policy ideas from local residents up to the national party
- We organise social, fundraising and political events throughout the area
The Association is a voluntary organisation and is entirely self-funding; we receive no money whatsoever from taxpayers or trades unions, for example.
