'Philip Milton has resigned with immediate effect as Deputy Chair and as a member of the Management Committee of the North Devon Conservative Association.
I would like to place on record my thanks for all his work for the Conservatives in recent years and know he will continue to support our candidate Selaine Saxby in helping her win North Devon in the general election.'
